It&#039;s a good point you make in this posting - you do need to be careful of how some of these Web 2.0 tools are used. I always say &#039;never do online that which is better done off line&#039;.

You are right to consider the purpose of the learning - that is our role as the educator - and the how comes into the picture too but sometimes I worry that we get sidetracked by the bells and whistles of the ICT without being fully aware of the quality of the learning taking place. Jamie Mackenzie talks a lot about this and his books are well worth reading.

		<description>WOW I have never heard of that before. How interesting! I&#039;m not against e-learning, but I do think that a more hands-on-approach is a really effective way of learning. But that is amazing that they have combined e-learning with a hands-on building activity. I think I will have to look into this more.</description>
